I'm putting my skins on and kicking it out for the Catamount Trail Association (CTA) by particpating in this year's VTBC Challenge! For my VTBC Challenge, I will ski as much of Section 23 and Section 24 of the Catamount Trail as I can over the course of the Challenge period.

The CTA stewards the Catamount Trail and a growing network of backcounty zones, works to permanently protect access to backcountry terrain, and pioneers programs to expand equitable access to skiing.

The Vermont Backcountry Challenge is an opportunity to give back to the backcountry community here in Vermont. The CTA has spent the last 35+ years working to protect our wild spaces, make possible amazing outdoor winter experiences, and expand access to the outdoors for all communities. This work enhances the lives of every person in Vermont and is a large part of why Vermont is such a wonderful place to spend time.
